WMATA Yellow Line Tunnel and Bridge Rehabilitation
MEC installed and tested permanent electrical cabling and devices as part of a systems upgrade comprising automatic train control, emergency trip stations, fire alarm, radio, fiber optics, lighting and low-voltage power systems.
Hill Top Energy Center
A 500-kV single-breaker switchyard and 2.75 miles of single-circuit 500-kV transmission line was part of the engineering, procurement, construction and startup of a 620-MW natural-gas-fired combined-cycle power generation plant — one of Pennsylvania’s most clean and efficient sources of energy.
Downtown Redmond Link Extension
MEC installed all rail systems for the 3.4-mile Downtown Redmond Extension project. The project included two passenger stations, one parking garage, three traction power substations, seven miles of standard overhead catenary (OCS) and one interlocking.
Three Rivers Energy Center
The 1,250-MW, natural-gas-powered Three Rivers Energy Center will be one of the cleanest, most efficient generating facilities of its kind, capable of powering more than 1.25 million homes with reliable, cost-effective and environmentally responsible low emissions generation.
Iron Mine Solar Farm
A nearly-50-MW ground-mount solar project, one of the largest in Rhode Island.
Goethals Bridge
Mass. Electric installed power distribution, roadway, architectural, aviation and navigational lighting; intelligent traffic systems (ITS); as well as surveillance, security and access control systems on the new Goethals Bridge.
